My 7-Day Diary - 2 VERSIONS AVAILABLE!!

(0)
A nice template to use for a 7-day diary. 2 versions available - fully editable. Version 1: Print out, cut each page in half and staple the booklet together. If you use this version, the diary will be A-5 size and contain 16 pages (2 pages for each of the 7 days plus a front and back cover). Version 2: This is my preferred version (as it’s easier to make the booklets). The front cover is on 1 page. Just staple the whole booklet together - 8 pages in total. This version will be A-4 size and contain a front cover and 7 pages - one for each day of the week. Please note: This resource can be be purchased as a ‘bundle’ of diary-writing activities here: https://www.tes.com/teaching-resource/diary-writing-12489458

Happy Birthday Booklet

(0)
A great way of celebrating a child’s birthday in your class! Celebrate a child’s birthday by allowing the class to “interview” the birthday child (hot seating). Then complete the birthday booklets (there are differentiated booklets for boys and girls). There is also a separate booklet for the ‘birthday child’ to complete. Once the booklets have been completed, just staple them together and send them home for the birthday child to keep. You can even make a front cover for all the birthday booklets (I’ve attached 14 to choose from - all editable). The children love this (and parents too). Fully editable.

Onomatopoeia - 4-page Activity Booklet ++

(0)
Attached is a fully editable 4-page onomatopoeia activity booklet. Also attached is a fun onomatopoeia video - the kids love this! Ideal for 6+ Instructions: Introduce onomatopoeia ‘sound words’ by watching the video. Show the children the onomatopoeia words listed on page 1 of the 4-page activity booklet. Give some examples of onomatopoeia words you might hear in certain jobs - there are a number of jobs listed in the booklet (with examples and pictures). Ask the children to have a go at drawing the sound words listed in the activity booklet then ask them to add one more word (and drawing) of their own. Challenge Activity: You might want the class (or a group of children) to perform their own onomatopoeia poem/song in the style of the video. If you do, I’ve also attached a simple rhythm/beat your children to listen and perform their poem/song to (plus a sheet for them to publish their work onto).
